Why art KARLSRUHE is your optimal sales platform!
Impressions of the gallery stands
art KARLSRUHE benefits from its location in the state of Baden-Württemberg, which boasts a dense cultural landscape and is the home of a great many art collectors. Located near the point where the borders of Germany, Switzerland and France meet, the fair has established itself since 2004 as an essential event in the immediate vicinity of great collections such as Grässlin (St. Georgen), Schaufler (Sindelfingen) and Hoppe-Ritter (Waldenbuch), Museum Würth (u.a. Schwäbisch Hall) and the Frieder Burda Foundation (Baden-Baden).
Moreover, art KARLSRUHE is convincing thanks to its curatorial concept, which assigns clearly defined focal points to each of the halls.
- Hall 1: Graphic Prints + Original Editions
- Hall 2: Art after 1945 + Contemporary Art
- Hall 3: Classic Modern + Contemporary Art
- Hall 4/dm-arena: ContemporaryArt 21
The adjudicating seven-person Advisory Board of art KARLSRUHE is composed of experts in the fair’s individual focal points.
A spacious layout, the integration of Sculpture Areas and the presentation of One-Artist-Shows round out the concept.
The outstanding quality of the comprehensive auxiliary programme sparks equally strong enthusiasm among visitors and gallery owners.

The Museum Mile for exhibitors
art KARLSRUHE’s Museum Mile offers cultural institutions (such as museums, art associations and foundations, as well as culture tourism) a platform for sharing and utilizing the synergies of an international art fair as exhibitor.
Embedded in Hall 3 alongside special exhibits and gallery stands displaying editions and photographs, the Museum Mile presents itself at art KARLSRUHE with attractive information stands. More than 40 selected institutions in Karlsruhe’s cultural landscape find their interested target audience here, as do cultural institutions from the entire federal state and neighbouring regions. International exhibitors come, for example, from France and Switzerland.
You will find your interested target audience here as an exhibitor!

In order to make the presentation as comfortable as possible for you as exhibitor, the information stands of the Museum Mile already contain a stand construction and marketing package in addition to the stand area. Possible stand sizes vary from 9 to 24 square meters.
The presentation and sale of originals / editions / graphics is not permitted in the area of the Museum Mile. It is a pure advertising platform for the institution and its exhibitions, but not for individual artists. This is reserved for the galleries at the fair. The organizer decides on the admission to participate in agreement with the curator.
