Under the title "Art business with, against and after Corona", the ARTIMA art meeting will take place on July 7 and 8, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the redesigned Hall 3 "Art & Communication". The series of events, conceived by the Office for Art and Publicity of the publishing house Lindinger + Schmid, will feature a total of six speakers.

From the perspective of their profession, prominent art mediators such as Eckart Köhne, president of the German Museums Association, Werner Tammen, regional chairman of the Berlin galleries, and curator Kasper König will report on resistance in lockdown phases and how to overcome it. The audience will hear about increasing online business in the art trade and the expansion of digital offerings on the part of museums and fairs, but also about travel restrictions, missing exhibitions and projects, and declining sales. In addition, various subsidies on the part of municipalities, states and the federal government will be discussed.

The ARTIMA art Meeting takes place annually at art KARLSRUHE. Instead of the previously practiced talk rounds, this time the speakers give 20-minute impulse lectures in order to be able to discuss the hot topics in more detail.
